Denmark Flexi Arch
A selection of photographs showing the installation of a new Flexi Arch structure in Denmark on behalf of Odense Community Council.
The FlexiArch is a patented arch bridge system based on modern precast concrete methods whilst performing like a masonary arch bridge. The system is the result of years of research in the School of Civil Engineering at Queen's University Belfast, and three years of intense development with Macrete, who have provided the commercial, manufacturing and installation expertise.

Macrete Ireland Ltd supplied 4 Flexi Arch bridge spans and associated components for installation atPleasington Golf Club Overbridge, Blackburn . The materials were supplied to the main contractor, Story Contracting Ltd, on behalf of Network Rail.
Ashton Bridge - Jacked Flexi Arch - 18 June 2013
Macrete Ireland Ltd supplied 14 Flexi Arch bridge units for installation at Ashton Bridge, Tameside, Greater Manchester. The units were jacked into place using hydraulic jacks - this is first ever such application of Flexi Arch technology as reinforcement to existing bridge structures.

Braithwaite Bridge Flexi Arch Installation - 07 October 2011
Macrete Ireland Ltd supplied a Flexi Arch bridge system for installation at Little Braithwaite Bridge, Keswick, Cumbria. The Bridge was severely damaged by the heaviest rainfall ever recorded in England during the devastating floods of November 2009. It was decided that the bridge should be repaired using the Flexiarch System.
Siddington House Jacked Installation Method - 29 August 2011
Macrete Ireland Ltd were commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council to provide a replacement bridge for Siddington House Bridge on South Cerney Road, south of Cirencester. The existing structure shown below was in a state of despair and was classified as a weak bridge.
