Macrete Ireland Limited recently supplied Bridge Beams to Galliford Try Water & Rail at Station Road, Stechford, Birmingham. The beams were enhanced with the addition of Staffordshire Smooth Blue Solid Brickwork to the parapets, before leaving the Macrete Works.

Refurbishment works on Sutton Park Cattle Arch Bridge were carried out by Birse Rail Ltd. Macrete supplied Birse with 8Nr Precast Concrete Arch Units, designed with staggered joints. The arch units where trial erected in Macrete's yard in Toomebridge prior to going to site.

Kinnegad Arches - 03 May 2007

Macrete Ireland Limited were pleased to have been chosen by Reinforced Earth Company to supply precast concrete arch units at Kinnegad on the N6 Kilbeggan to Athlone Project in the Republic of Ireland. Each Unit had a span of 7m and 22 Arch units were supplied.

The Slurry Store featured below was constructed near Lisburn, Co. Antrim.The store has dimensions of 25.09m diameter x 5m high. The base took 2 days to lay and, once fully cured, the 34 panels were erected in 1 day.

The tank was erected on the farm owned by Mr Paul Warnock at Rubane Road Kircubbin. The tank has an Internal Diameter of 33.93m and consists of 46 Nr 5.0m high panels. Gross capacity is 1,001,000 gallons

David McMullan Slurry Tank - 26 April 2007

Macrete constructed a Concrete Slurry Store for Mr. David McMullan on his farm at Bush Dungannon. The store had an Internal Diameter of 14.65m and consisted of 20 No. 5m high panels. Gross capacity was about 182,600 gallons.

Macrete Ireland Ltd supplied Smoothbore Shaft Rings for the 12.50m shaft in Paisley, Scotland, pictured below. The shaft is being constructed by ASG Civil Engineering Ltd, Glasgow. Macrete Ireland are also manufacturing a 12.50m cover slab to suit.
