The arch rings and spandrel units for Sir Thomas Fairfax Bridge represented highly challenging elements of pre-cast concrete to construct owing to their large size, skew and architectural detail. The challenge was met by an enthusiastic and professional approach from Macrete who we found to be constructive with ideas, paid good attention to detail and produced a high quality product. Also, they made a splendid job of shipping huge pieces of concrete! Macrete played a key role in the success of this project, - which can be measured by the prestigious awards it has received.
