Just a note pass on our thanks to you, John and the BAM Nuttall team for the safe and successful execution of works in wks25 and 26; whilst on site both Saturday and Sunday I was impressed with how well your site team managed the works, particularly coordinating the deliveries to site (41 articulated trucks delivering PCC units over 2 weekends) and the cranage operations (implementation and marshalling of exclusion zones etc.) I fully appreciate the enormous amount of planning and interface works that have went into the Shore Rd project and the success of the last two weekends was testament to your efforts.�

Please pass on our thanks to your sub-contractors and suppliers who also helped make the past two weekends a success. Whilst not normally wanting to single out anyone in particular, praise must go to Macrete on achieving the high volume of work and managing the various challenges that they were faced with.

Undoubtedly there are some lessons that we need to take on board from the weekend and we look forward to discussing this with you in due course.

Going forward as a team we must not rest on our laurels as there is still a lot of work to do here - no doubt we will face more challenges in this and other forthcoming projects. The challenge to us all is to maintain the high standard that we have now set ourselves.
